Hey everyone…

Hope you’re having a WONDERFUL summer so far! It’s my favorite time of the year because it’s all about playing outside, going on exciting adventures, and having FUN! FUN! FUN!

So to help you have an unforgettable summer, here are a few of my favorite new things to kick-start the party!

FAVORITE SONG: Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO
This song is THE summer song to dance to… Such a high energy beat, it makes you want to “shuffle all the time!”

FAVORITE ACTIVITY: Free-Style Dancing
Just turn up the music and bust-a-move!!! Have your friends over and go crazy. Or just dance your brains out all by yourself! (Really, please keep your brains in your head… that would be disgusting. And painful.)

FAVORITE SNACK: Frozen Grapes
They’re so delicious, they taste like candy! Just pop a bag of rinsed seedless grapes in the freezer for a few hours and enjoy!

FAVORITE SUMMER PROGRAM: Zeno Mountain Farm, Vermont
A friend of mine is a volunteer counselor at this camp for people with and without disabilities and he’s having an experience of a lifetime. Everyone works together so all can live a life full of creativity, adventure, fun and community. Pretty awesome.

FAVORITE ROLE MODEL: Bethany Hamilton, the real Soul Surfer
I remember reading about a teenage surfer girl who was attacked by a shark years ago. The Great White bit her arm right off, but she didn’t let that stop her. She went back into the water to face her fears just weeks after the attack. And now that there’s a movie made about her life, she’s able to reach more young people with her message of hope, inspiration, and determination. She rocks.
